Research on sexuality under socialism as an appropriated voice

This review analyzes the book Sexual Liberation, Socialist Style: Communist Czechoslovakia and the Science of Desire, 1945-1989 written by Czech sociologist Kateřina Lišková. The author of this review argues that the reviewed book suffers from serious analytical as well as methodological shortcomings. Moreover, this book does not give sufficient credit to previous literature on the topic.
