Monika Abrhámová graduated from cultural anthropology – philosophy at Palacky University in Olomouc, where she currently continues with her Phd Studies in the field of cultural anthropology. In her research she concentrates on theory of visual anthropology and methods of visually based research. Her thesis focuses on role of photography in dynamic relationship between personal and cultural memory.
